محبت اور ظالم سماج

محبت کی خطا پر یہ سماج سزا دیتا ہے،
جو دل سے چاہے کسی کو، اُسی کو رُلا دیتا ہے۔
یہاں محبت کے جذبے بھی جرم کہلاتے ہیں،
یہ کیسا شہر ہے جو خواب تک جلا دیتا ہے۔
وہ دو دل جو ایک دوجے کے لیے دھڑکتے ہیں،
انہیں رسم و رواج کا قیدی بنا دیتا ہے۔
کسی کی آنکھ میں سپنے، کسی کے دل میں وفا،
یہ ظالم سماج ہر اک خواب مٹا دیتا ہے۔
محبت کرنے والوں کی خطا آخر ہے کیا؟
یہ سوال ہر زمانہ خامشی میں دبا دیتا ہے۔
وہ چاہ کر بھی کبھی ساتھ چل نہیں سکتے،
یہ خوف اپنوں کی خوشیوں کو بھلا دیتا ہے۔
کسی کی چاہت کو دولت کے ترازو میں رکھ کر،
یہ معاشرہ رشتوں کا مول لگا دیتا ہے۔
مگر محبت تو روحوں کا پاک رشتہ ہے،
اسے زمانے کا ہر ظلم کیا مٹا دیتا ہے؟
میں اپنے لفظوں میں سچائی لکھتی رہوں گی،
قلم کا حوصلہ ہر خوف کو مٹا دیتا ہے۔
کبھی تو وقت محبت کو عزت دے گا،
یہی یقین میرے دل کو حوصلہ دیتا ہے۔

मोहब्बत और ज़ालिम समाज

मोहब्बत की ख़ता पर ये समाज सज़ा देता है,
जो दिल से चाहे किसी को, उसी को रुला देता है।
यहाँ मोहब्बत के जज़्बे भी जुर्म कहलाते हैं,
ये कैसा शहर है जो ख़्वाब तक जला देता है।
वो दो दिल जो एक-दूजे के लिए धड़कते हैं,
उन्हें रस्मों-रिवाज़ों का क़ैदी बना देता है।
किसी की आँख में सपने, किसी के दिल में वफ़ा,
ये ज़ालिम समाज हर एक ख़्वाब मिटा देता है।
मोहब्बत करने वालों की ख़ता आख़िर है क्या?
ये सवाल हर ज़माना ख़ामोशी में दबा देता है।
वो चाहकर भी कभी साथ चल नहीं सकते,
ये डर अपनों की ख़ुशियों को भुला देता है।
किसी की चाहत को दौलत के तराज़ू में रखकर,
ये समाज रिश्तों का मोल लगा देता है।
मगर मोहब्बत तो रूहों का पाक रिश्ता है,
इसे ज़माने का हर ज़ुल्म क्या मिटा देता है?
मैं अपने लफ़्ज़ों में सच्चाई लिखती रहूँगी,
क़लम का हौसला हर डर को मिटा देता है।
कभी तो वक़्त मोहब्बत को इज़्ज़त देगा,
यही यक़ीन मेरे दिल को हौसला देता है।

Love and a Cruel Society

Society punishes love as if it were a crime,
And makes the hearts that love suffer every time.
Here, even the purest feelings are condemned,
What kind of world burns dreams before they shine?
Two hearts that beat for one another in silence,
Are chained by traditions they cannot leave behind.
One carries dreams, another holds true devotion,
Yet cruel society leaves their hopes confined.
Tell me, what is the fault of those who love?
Why must their questions remain unanswered in time?
They wish to walk together along life’s road,
But fear of hurting loved ones makes them resign.
When love is weighed against wealth and status,
Society forgets that hearts cannot be assigned.
Yet love is a sacred bond between two souls,
No cruelty should erase what hearts define.
I’ll keep on writing truth within my verses,
For words can help the bravest hearts shine.
Perhaps one day the world will honor love,
And hope will give our wounded dreams a sign.
