तेरी यादें दिल से जाती ही नहीं,
ये दर्द है जो किसी को बताया ही नहीं।

जिसे चाहा था हर दुआ की तरह,
उसने देखा मुझे किसी अजनबी की तरह।

मैं दुनिया के सामने हर बार मुस्कुराती रही,
मगर दिल में दर्द की कहानी छुपाती रही।

वो वादे, वो बातें, सब ख़्वाब बन गए,
जो कभी अपने थे, आज अजनबी बन गए।

अब न कोई शिकायत, न लौटने की आस है,
बस तेरी यादें हैं और दिल की ख़ामोशी पास है।

कभी सोचती हूँ, क्या उसे मेरी याद आती है?
या मेरी मोहब्बत भी उसे भूल जाती है?

تیری یادوں کا موسم دل سے جاتا ہی نہیں،
یہ درد ایسا ہے جو کسی کو بتایا ہی نہیں۔

جسے چاہا تھا دل کی ہر دعا کی طرح،
اس نے دیکھا بھی مجھے کسی اجنبی کی طرح
۔
میں ہنستی رہی دنیا کے سامنے ہر بار،
مگر دل میں چھپا رہا ادھوری محبت کا غبار

وہ وعدے، وہ باتیں، سب خواب بن گئے،
جو کبھی اپنے تھے، آج اجنبی بن گئے۔

اب نہ کوئی شکایت، نہ واپسی کی آس ہے،
بس تیری یاد ہے اور دل کی خاموشی پاس ہے۔

کبھی سوچتی ہوں، کیا اسے میری یاد آتی ہے؟
یا میری محبت بھی اسے بھول جاتی ہے؟
