The Pain of Separation

After you left, my heart loved no one new,
I cried so much, but never told a soul what I went through.

The one who once was the reason for my smile,
Since you left, I haven’t smiled from my heart in a while.

Every evening, the sun of your memories rises again,
Yet I never showed anyone the depth of my pain.

The dreams we once created together, side by side,
They fell apart, but I kept their memories inside.

This is the little story of my love for you,
I tried to forget you, but I never could do.

May you stay happy in your world, that’s my prayer,
Even after losing you, I never raised my hands to curse you there.

जुदाई का दर्द

तुम्हारे बाद इस दिल को किसी से लगाया नहीं,
बहुत रोए मगर किसी को बताया नहीं।

वो शख़्स जो कभी मेरी हँसी की वजह था,
उसके बाद हमने दिल से मुस्कुराया नहीं।

हर शाम तेरी याद का सूरज निकलता है,
हमने जुदाई का दर्द किसी को दिखाया नहीं।

तुम्हारे साथ जो ख़्वाब सजाए थे हमने,
बिखर तो गए, मगर किसी को गिनाया नहीं।

अब इतनी सी कहानी है मेरी मोहब्बत की,
तुम्हें भूलना चाहा, मगर भुलाया नहीं।

तुम अपनी दुनिया में खुश रहो, यही दुआ है,
हमने तुम्हें खोकर भी बद्दुआ के लिए हाथ उठाया नहीं।

دردِ جدائی

تمہارے بعد یہ دل کسی سے لگایا نہیں،
بہت روئے مگر کسی کو بتایا نہیں۔

وہ شخص جو کبھی میری ہنسی کی وجہ تھا،
اس کے بعد ہم نے دل سے مسکرایا نہیں۔

ہر شام تیری یاد کا سورج نکلتا ہے،
ہم نے دردِ جدائی کسی کو دکھایا نہیں۔

تمہارے ساتھ جو خواب سجائے تھے ہم نے،
بکھر تو گئے، مگر کسی کو گنوایا نہیں۔

اب اتنی سی کہانی ہے میری محبت کی،
تمہیں بھولنا چاہا، مگر بھلایا نہیں۔

تم اپنی دنیا میں خوش رہو، یہی دعا ہے،
ہم نے تمہیں کھو کر بھی بددعا کے لیے ہاتھ اٹھایا نہیں۔
